Overview
TAKUMI’s 3D IP cores come with both advanced vertex/pixel processing capacity and smaller footprint and power consumption. The intuitive animation by 3D not only enables 3D map and game applications but also the new user experience by 3D GUI. These IPs work best in such mobile embedded systems as digital still cameras/camcorders and handsets that require high performance and less power-consuming operations.
Lineup
TAKUMI's Third Generation 3D Graphics IP Core
GT4 is a 3D graphics IP core with significantly higher effective rendering performance than other GSHARK-TAKUMI 3D IPs. Inheriting the base architecture from GV330 and GV550, developed as the third generation graphics IPs, GT4 comes with significant enhancements in the graphics performance and bus efficiency, resulting in much higher effective performance in such applications especially as GUI.
G2 is a 3D graphics IP core with 10M tri/sec triangle performance. G2 comes with extremely high 3D operation capacity while inheriting the GSHARK-TAKUMI concept of “smaller footprint, less power consumption and easier integration.
GT is a 3D graphics IP core enabling both low power consumption and high performance vertex and rendering performance, resulting in a remarkable track record.
GP is the smallest-in-class 3D graphics IP core for embedded systems. Supporting OpenGL ES standard as the first IP from Japan, GP works best in such embedded systems with QVGA class display as mobile handsets and portable audio/imaging systems requiring extremely low power consumption.
